ON-DEMAND PERFORMANCE (PISTOL)
Featuring Simon Golob of Pistol-Training.com
May 1–2, 2027 | Statesville, North Carolina
WHEN PERFORMANCE MATTERS, YOU DON'T GET A WARM-UP.
Family Defender Institute of North Carolina is proud to welcome Simon Golob of Pistol-Training.com to our range in
Statesville, North Carolina, for his nationally offered, two-day On-Demand Performance (ODP) Pistol Course.
There is a difference between shooting well after warming up and being able to deliver that same performance on demand.
For the responsible concealed carrier, that difference matters.
WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE DIFFERENT?
On-Demand Performance is Pistol-Training.com's flagship pistol course, emphasizing two critical objectives: technical excellence and cold performance — the ability to perform without warming up.
Students begin by demonstrating their existing abilities. Instruction is then tailored to individual needs, with an emphasis on developing greater speed, accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
This is not simply another opportunity to shoot 1,000 rounds. It is an opportunity to evaluate your current performance, identify areas for improvement, and learn structured training methods that can continue producing results long after the course ends.
Students will also have the opportunity to attempt the recognized F.A.S.T. Coin or F.A.S.T. Pin performance standards.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is designed for handgun owners and concealed carriers who already possess solid marksmanship fundamentals and want to take their performance to a higher level.
It is particularly appropriate for those who want to:
Improve shooting speed without sacrificing accuracy.
Develop greater consistency when shooting without a warm-up.
Become more efficient at hitting small, challenging targets.
Identify individual performance weaknesses.
Learn effective methods for continued improvement.
This is not a beginner pistol course. Students must already be capable of safely drawing and reholstering their handguns.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
All students must demonstrate safe handgun handling and pass an initial shooting assessment:
