Micro Pistol / Pocket Pistol Course

Next course is June 27, 2026

Small pistols are easy to carry, but they require specific training to use effectively

Pocket pistols and micro-compact handguns are among the most commonly carried firearms for personal defense. Their small size makes them convenient to carry, but that same size presents unique challenges in grip, recoil control, sight acquisition, and manipulation.

This course focuses on the specific skills required to safely and effectively operate small defensive handguns. Students will learn techniques designed to improve accuracy, control, and confidence when carrying and using micro-sized pistols.

This course is specifically designed for the pistols most people actually carry every day.

FDI instructors have decades of combined experience in law enforcement, military, firearms training, and defensive shooting.
